RoleMerit AI uses user-provided information to authenticate users, store resumes, compare resumes against job descriptions, generate reviewable job-search guidance, organize application tracking, display saved results, support billing access, and keep the product reliable.
AI processing
RoleMerit AI may send resume text, job descriptions, tracked job context, preferences, and outreach inputs to AI providers to generate reviewable outputs. Users should review all AI outputs before use and avoid entering sensitive information that is not needed for job-search support.
Storage and Access
RoleMerit AI is designed to use Supabase authentication, database row-level security, and private resume storage so users can access their own records. Server-side access is limited to operating the service, syncing billing, securing accounts, and troubleshooting product issues.
Billing Data
Paid subscription checkout and billing are handled by Stripe. RoleMerit AI stores the subscription status needed to unlock paid access, but it does not store full card numbers.
Third-Party Services
RoleMerit AI relies on third-party services such as Supabase, OpenAI, Stripe, Vercel, and Sentry to provide authentication, storage, AI processing, billing, hosting, and monitoring. Those providers process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.
User Control
Users can review saved materials before using them, replace or delete uploaded resumes where the app provides that control, and manage paid billing through the billing flow when available. Some records may be retained as needed for security, billing, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service operations.
Data Security
RoleMerit AI uses practical safeguards such as authenticated access, private resume storage, server-only secrets, rate limiting, and monitoring. No internet service can promise perfect security, so users should avoid uploading information that is not needed for job-search support.
